Day 1: Hanoi Arrival

Our farm expert - Mr. Thai was born in a farming family in
the Red river delta of the North Vietnam.
He worked as a farmer when he was a student under the subsidized time of Vietnam
and the innovation time called Doi Moi in 1986. His family started running a
5.7ha farm of chiken, duck, fish, vegetable and cow. Nowadays, the 15ha farm is
running by his old brother. Besides, He was hired to run the chicken and pig
farms for DuyenThai community while he was studying tourism at university. With
great experience on Vietnam agriculture, disadvantages and advanantages which
Vietnamese farmers have, he will help you have successful study on Vietnam farm.

    Great city of Hanoi speaks for its rich Vietnamese cultures and beautiful coloured buildins. The roads are very neat and busy with bustling bussiness. The way lanes are spread with food courts of delicious dishes and heavy traffic just passing on with you noticing them.     We had a fantastic time visiting the rural areas as well as the cities and major attractions in VietNam and Cambodia. Our guide Mr Thai Ta ensured that everything worked very smoothly for us - no hassles! He was very well informed about the farming and rural industries . Id recommend this trip to everyone.

    I lead an American agribusiness group in June, 2010 to visit Hanoi and Halong Bay with the help of very professional Vietnamese tour manager. He did all logistic arrangements for the group like hotel selection, meals and boat reservation for the group. We also visited other sites like farm and farmer's union.
