Noibai Airport To Halong Bay Transfer
Upon arrival at Noibai airport, you can take Noibai airport taxi to Halong bay. The cost will be charged as meter. You will also have to pay for the waiting time in Halong bay for the taxi driver. Therefore, total cost is more expensive than our private car, bus. Our tips for you: do not take the cars at the airport because they are illigal drivers. They will charge you 3 or 4 times higher.
Hanoi To Halong Bay Transport Guide
The distance from Hanoi to Halong bay is 170 km long and there are 3 different ways to go there: Public bus, shuttle bus and private transfer.
- By mini bus from Gialam bus station. The ticket is bought at the ticket counter about 100,000 VND. It takes about 4.5 hours long. The bus runs fast but the driver will stop to pick up passengers along the way when he sees. It is unpleasant to take this kind of bus, but it is a nice authentic Vietnamese experience.
- By shuttle bus: Pick up & drop off at Ha Noi old quarter. It takes about 4 - 6 hours depending on how many stops the driver has to pick up the passengers. The cost is from 10 USD/way.
- By private car, van, bus, it takes 3.5 hours. We understand you do not always want to sit on the shuttle bus going from one point to another for pickup or your destination is not in Hanoi Old Quarter.
